Home Security Assessments: Offering to help neighbors assess their home security and suggest improvements.
Emergency Response Planning: Developing a plan for how to respond to emergencies, including natural disasters or criminal activity.
Research on the Internet: Seek out free / low cost government (.gov) programs or grants that can assist the community with:
Partnerships with local businesses for discounts on home repairs
Security upgrades

Safety equipment (flashlights, walkie-talkies, first aid kits for patrol members
